Quality Reporting
Plan sponsors of non-grandfathered plans must submit reports on certain features of the sponsor’s health care coverage that may improve health care quality, such as disease management or wellness programs. Reports must be issued annually to the Department of Health and Human Services and to plan participants during open enrollment. Federal guidelines must be published by March 23, 2013, and will define the required content and include an effective date.
